On top of all the experiences – that flinging open our tent door early morning could not have been met by a more glorious view. If you have the opportunity to visit the orchard, this is something not to be missed for a real insight into the very rural life in a place where globalization has thankfully had no influence.

To Initiate, Educate, Inspire, Motivate and Sustain your – Insight, Contact, Communication, commitment into many aspects of Human life in assorted colours.

Why India?
India – the cradle of spirituality, the birthplace of yoga or the home of the snake charmer!!! It is often said that India can change your mind and soul through its traditions culture festivals, music, dances and marvelous monuments. A well known Persian verse written on the walls of public auditorium at Lal Quila (Red fort) in Delhi says, “If on Earth be an Eden of bliss, it is this, it is this, none but this”

PATIALA: A Royal Tradition
Royal patronage has given Patiala a rich heritage: a magnificent masonry fort, palaces, gardens, paintings, crafts, music, a culinary tradition – and the measure of whiskey known all over the world as the Patiala peg. Patiala was an important market town for the neighbouring countryside so, typically, Patialvi culture combines Punjabi folk traditions with Mughal and Rajput influences. These influences gave the world the word “pagree or pagg” which is the popular Patiala shahi ( Royal) turban, the “parandi” a tasseled tag for braiding hair, Phulkari (a traditional embroidery) and the “juti” a traditional style of footwear.

Patiala is considered the most beautiful city of Punjab. The city’s museum are rich with historical and cultural artifacts and the city itself is filled with a wealth of educational and cultural institutions and some of the finest monuments in Punjab.

Patiala’s nobility gave India a sporting culture, in particular Polo, which is enjoying a resurgence today. Patiala’s other major distinctions: the first printing press was set up in Patiala, the first Punjabi typewriter was made here, as was the first locally built internal combustion locomotive on the Indian Sub Continent, The Patiala State Monorail tramway.
